Martin Garrix has built an empire on making crowds jump, but with his new single “Weightless,” he’s more interested in what happens during the suspension before you land.
The Dutch EDM superstar reunites with Arijit Singh for the cross-cultural collaboration, which follows last month’s release of “Angels for Each Other.” That track marked the first-ever English language showcase for Singh, the world’s most followed artist on Spotify.
Out now via Garrix’s own STMPD RCRDS imprint, “Weightless” occupies the space between dancefloor catharsis and bedroom introspection. It’s music for those moments when you’re neither fully grounded nor completely adrift, but suspended beautifully somewhere in between.
